Privacy Policy

QuickCV (“we”, “us”) is operated by Armen Apps [fill in: legal entity name, address, and country]. This policy explains what data QuickCV collects and why. It’s written to describe exactly what the product does — please review it and adjust anything that changes as the product evolves.

What we don’t collect

QuickCV doesn’t require an account, and we don’t ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the builder.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to see aggregate page-view counts and which pages are used. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t track you across other websites, and doesn’t build an individual profile of you — it reports anonymized, aggregated traffic data only. See Vercel Analytics’ privacy policy.

Your CV and letter data

Everything you type into the builder — your name, experience, education, and any photo you upload — is stored only in your browser’s local storage. It is never uploaded to our servers or seen by us. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently; we cannot recover it, since we never had it.

Translation (optional)

If you use the translation feature, the text of your CV or letter is sent to DeepL (a third-party translation provider) to be translated. See DeepL’s privacy policy for how they handle that data. We don’t store the translated text ourselves.

Payment

Exporting a PDF requires a one-time payment, processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy — we never see or store your card details. Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and handles billing, receipts, and tax. See Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy. After a successful payment, we store a signed token in your browser that unlocks export — this token isn’t linked to any personal information we hold.

Reviews

If you choose to submit a rating or review after exporting, we store the rating, review text, and whether you agreed to have it shown publicly. We don’t collect your name or email as part of a review, and only reviews you explicitly agree to display are ever shown on the site.

Hosting

QuickCV is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard web request data (like IP address) as part of serving the site. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

Your choices

• Clear your browser’s local storage at any time to remove your CV/letter data.
• Skip the translation feature if you don’t want text sent to DeepL.
• Decline to submit a review, or decline the display-consent checkbox if you do.
